Bosch single-wire cavity seal, blue, sized for 0.35–1 mm² conductor (approximately 22–17 AWG). One seal fits behind each crimped contact in a Bosch sealed connector body and seals the cavity against the wire insulation.
Colour is the size code on Bosch wire seals — blue is the 0.35–1 mm² range. Fitting a seal outside its wire range is the usual cause of moisture ingress on an otherwise correctly built connector: too large and it will not grip the insulation, too small and it deforms and tears on assembly.

Assembly Notes
- Slide the seal onto the wire before crimping the contact — it cannot be fitted afterwards.
- Every populated cavity needs a seal; every unused cavity needs a blind plug.
- Check the seal sits square against the contact shoulder before inserting into the housing.
